The Park’s clubhouse is now rebuilt after the disastrous fire of 2004 which completely destroyed the building and with it the heart of the
community.
The new clubhouse has two bars with a wide range of beers, spirits and wines which is open every evening and weekend. The sports bar has a pool table
and dartboard and also a projector and screen which shows all the major sporting events. The facility also has a lounge and a park room
which host regular social events including social evenings and a weekly quiz. The park room is also available for residents’ private celebrations.
The clubhouse also has a range of leisure activities including a heated swimming pool, two glass backed squash courts and in the near future the
sauna facility lost in the fire will be replaced.
Full time bar managers and a team of receptionists provide a welcoming face to residents and guests alike and are able to advise and assist residents
in answering queries and booking any of the many sports facilities available to young and old.
The clubhouse is fully accessible and residents recently voted to make it a completely non smoking environment
In addition to the communal gardens the Park also has a central playing field together with a fully maintained children’s play area, two floodlit
tennis courts and a cricket practice net. The Park is also a warren of footpaths and walkways which provide the perfect environment for leisurely
strolls or gentle exercise.
