Food
We serve food in the bar on Friday evenings between 18:30 and 21:00 and on Saturday/Sunday between 15:00 and 20:00.
We have a comprehensive menu which includes Soup and Pate followed by Lasagne, Beefburger, Chilli, Chicken Tikka Marsala, Pizza and various Baguettes.
Tuesday Evening - Plot Draw
The resident plot draws take place on a Tuesday evening at 20:30 and 22:00. You must be in either the Sports or Lounge bar at the time of the draw to win .
For the 20:30 draw the prize increases each week by £10 and the 22:00 by £15.
To increase your chances of winning something on a Tuesday evening, every time you make a purchase you are invited to sign the receipt and a winner is drawn from these after the Plot Draw. However, like the Plot Draw, you must be in one of the Bars at the time of the draw to claim your £10.00 prize. Come and join us, have some fun and remember, the more purchases you make, the more chances you have of winning.
Wednesday Night is Quiz Night
Wednesday night is our very popular quiz night held in the Lounge Bar and for just £1.00 per person you can enter and try to win bottles of wine. We accept teams of 1 upwards but anymore than 6 does get a bit difficult. We start at 20.30 and offer prizes for both a picture quiz and 40 questions that can cover practically any aspects of everyday life. You do not have to be a genius to win, so come and join us and have some fun - bring you own team or join in with one of the others.
Thursday Night is?
Nothing at present but we would like to see it develop into a ‘Games Night’ – Pool, Darts, Dominoes, Draughts, Chess etc. We need one or more people to get this going. If you can spare the time to organise informal competitions for one or more of these activities then please contact Barry Eaton in the Bar.
Televised Sports
Our superb big screen and Sky/Setanta subscriptions enables most of the major (and some not so major) sporting events to be projected in the Sports Bar – join the crowd and share the excitement whilst taking a glass of your favourite tipple.
Casual Staff
The bar is looking for staff to work on a casual basis whenever the need arises. For further details contact Barry on 07903 460626.
Functions
If you have a birthday, anniversary or any other excuse for a party, come and speak to us and we will make every effort to satisfy your requirements and help you put on an event that exceeds your expectations.
Young Persons
Young persons up to the age of 18 years are allowed into the Park Room, the Lounge Bar and the Sports Bar if accompanied or supervised by an adult who is prepared to take responsibility for their safety and behaviour. They must vacate the bar by 9.00pm or before if requested by either, the Bar Staff or a Trustee / Director. They are not permitted to consume alcoholic drinks, or play the gaming machines.
